Our guide, "Irene", related an interesting story about a visitor to the Terracotta Warriors.

Seems this guy was REALLY into the Warriors, et. al. So, he dressed up to look exactly like one of the statues. He snuck into the pit #1 when no one was watching and posed with the statues. He remained perfectly motionless. Finally, a group of tourists was viewing the area in which he was positioned. He turned his head and smiled at them. They freaked!

A guard was called and the guy was removed from the pit immediately.

The police were notified, of course. When they arrived they were so impressed with the guy's "makeup" and with his total devotion to the warriors, they only assessed him a fine and let him go.

That's a story the guy will be able to tell FOREVER. I thought that was so awesome.
